Services and Specializations

Our services…

Family Therapy

Family Therapy is any therapy involving multiple members of a family. We know families come in many shapes, sizes, and colors. Sometimes the challenges involve everyone and sometimes it is just a few people. Any services supporting both a child/teen/young adult and a parent is considered family therapy, therefore it is our primary service.

Individual Therapy

Many people come to us for therapy just for themselves or their child. Therapists are trained in play therapy and individual therapy interventions.

We specialize in supporting mothers and fathers with babies, young children, teens, and young adults.

Parent Counseling and Consultation

Parents have had many questions throughout the years. They often want to talk about how they can support their child or teen before diving into therapy. These session are offered at a discounted rate, since they are not considered therapy, and focus specifically on behavioral goals/challenges identified for improvement. Parents can expect to learn strategies, resources, and information on development while they receive support for their specific needs. Children do not need to be present and insurance cannot be used for this service. This is typically a short term intervention focused on providing information.

We also offer parent counseling to help parents co-parent in a divorce or separation. Parent counseling can also focus on parent need for other circumstances such as prolonged separation, bonding with your child, addressing your own childhood trauma or attachment wounds and considering how this impacts your relationship with you child/children.

Infant and Toddler/Early Childhood Mental Health

Therapists are trained or are receiving training in this unique specialization, providing mental health therapy appropriate for children birth to 5 years old. Services will always involve parents and supporting both the parent and child together.

April Galligan (Owner) is also able to provide reflective supervision to those seeking endorsement as she has received an Endorsement for Culturally Sensitive, Relationship-Focused Practice Promoting Infant Mental Health (IMH-E ®) as a mentor with the Colorado Association for Infant Mental Health.
